Close Encounter With Hockey Legend

I was coming out of the Upper Canada Mall in Newmarket, Ontario this afternoon and I almost knocked Curtis Joseph over. That would have been really bad seeing as his is currently on crutches and all. . .

I mean there are still people that are pissed that he left the Leafs, but I wouldn't want to hurt the guy more than he is already hurting. It's kind of cool that he still shops in his hometown mall, Newmarket having the closest mall to King City.

New Heights of Stupidity?

I have just overheard what may have been to stupidist comment I have ever heard.

The Setting: The paint department of a leading DIY dealer here in Canada.
The Product: a new "green" paintbrush. The bristles snap in and out for cleaning and replacement.
The Comment: "See? You can just snap the old bristles out and put in a new set. And you can set it for your right hand or your left hand."

DOH! And here is me all these years just turning the darn brush over.
